Gillespie Engineering Limited (GEL) has been in operation since 1975 and is regarded as arguably the best engineering workshop in New Zealand with one of the largest machining centres in the country.

GEL manufactures to order from drawings and specifications as well as the repair/modification of existing components working to precise tolerances.
The company is also capable of manufacturing and assembling of special purpose machines and repairing equipment to original specifications.
From a large and diverse customer base the company provides engineering solutions for “one-off” components as well as small production runs using materials such as ferrous, non-ferrous, plastics and alloys.
GEL’s 20 staff members consists of a team of skilled Tradesmen of Grinders, CNC Machinists, Gear Cutters, Fitter/Turners as well as a team of long serving Departmental Managers.
